From signal systems to practical automation
My background combines signal engineering in the transportation industry, electronics repair, and home automation. My experience includes engineering management and electronics repair-shop leadership, with a focus on troubleshooting, team coordination, and keeping complex systems working.
I also worked in research and development at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln on energy and home automation, including system planning, microcontroller integration, construction, and programming.
Tryon Electronics brings those interests together through hands-on electronics, solar tracking, and Home Assistant projects, with clear documentation to help others build and learn.
